Old House New House.
Old House, New House offers a seamless 12-week retrofit solution for Nelson Tasman landlords. With over 70 successful projects, they had the renovation formula nailed, but the brand itself was nonexistent. They came to us with a solid business concept but a complete visual blank canvas.
Our mission? To build an entire identity from the ground up, turning a raw idea into a trustworthy brand that looks like it’s been running the show for years.

The Results
We took a concept and gave it a heartbeat, delivering a head-turning brand identity.
- From Scratch to Icon: We transformed a business plan into a living, breathing brand. We delivered the name and visual identity that took a raw concept and turned it into a brand that looks like an industry leader
- Unmissable Fleet: The standout beige and retro-striped van wraps have turned their vehicles into rolling billboards that demand attention on the road
- Instant Authority: The new look positions them as the smart, slick choice for investors, immediately building trust through professional, cohesive design
How We Did It
We wanted to play on a retro vibe and strip the brand back to the bones, just like a renovation blueprint.
- The Blueprint Vibe: We leaned into a “technical” aesthetic, stripping the visual identity right back to the essentials. It’s a clean, architectural look that mimics a blueprint—precise, functional, and completely clutter-free
- Retro Rewind: We ditched the standard trade colours for a warm beige base with bold 70s/80s-inspired stripes in teal, red, and orange. It’s a nod to the solid build quality of the past, brought into the modern day
- Bold Typography: We used heavy block lettering to give the brand a confident, industrial voice. It’s legible, strong, and tells customers exactly who they are dealing with: a team that means business
