The Keetrax team is cheering and the champagne’s flowing because, for the second year in a row, we’re finalists in the David Awards.
The David Awards recognise the small business heroes across New Zealand who contribute so much to the country, their communities, families and the Kiwi business landscape. We entered the Established Business Category and are absolutely thrilled to once again be finalists in an Award program that celebrates small Kiwi businesses punching above their weight.
The David Awards Established Business Category
An established business is said to be one which has moved beyond the start-up phase and is two or more years old. It’s a business that has a proven track record and some or all of the plans/people/systems/processes in place to make a long-term or well-above-average future a reality. This Award seeks to recognise a business planning for and/or coping with the changes required to take a business through expansion and significant growth, or which has achieved a level of security and maturity. This business will be able to demonstrate proven financial success.
Of this year’s entries Judge Glenn Baker had this to say;
“2022 delivered another outstanding crop of David’s, dominated by solid performers. In the end the businesses which stood out demonstrated outstanding discipline and achievement across marketing, financials, values and management. Above all, they looked adversity in the eye and slayed it!”
Being recognised as an established business that ‘slayed’ in 2022 is extremely rewarding for the entire Keetrax team and whilst we’re hoping for a win, we’re also very proud to have been nominated.
Why the David Awards?
If you’re scratching your head and asking yourself, who’s David and why does he have an award named after him, you’ll enjoy our overview of the David Awards which we shared when we were nominated in 2021. Hint! It’s got something to do with the epic David and Goliath ‘against all odds’ battle.
When’s the big announcement?
Winners will be announced on 14 October 2022 and you can be sure we’ll be sharing the news via social media.
